Staff

Pastor Daniel Deardoff Sr. has been a pastor for over 24 years. After his graduation from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis MO in 1984 he served a dual congregation in Harbine and Jansen NE, followed by 15 years of service at Zion Lutheran Church and School in Plainview NE. He has served Blessed Redeemer since 2002. His service to the church includes circuit youth advisor, Camp Minneboji Bible Study leader, and he is currently a SD District LWML Counselor.

Pastor Deardoff is a graduate of Burke High School in Omaha Nebraska, St. John's College in Winfield Kansas, and Concordia College in Ann Arbor Michigan.  He was married to Kristina Jorns on August 4th, 1979 and they are blessed with six children.  Kate and her husband Reid Weber, Dan Jr. and his wife Kristen, Carl and his wife Shannon, Matt and his wife Jenna, Debra, and Luke.  Along with five grandchildren.  Pastor lists his hobbies as hunting, fishing, weight lifting, and reading voraciously.  He is delighted to be a part of the South Dakota scene and he loves the Brandon area along with it's many social and recreational opportunities.
